PHP/MySQL Programmer
Responsibilities:
• As part of the Springboard Video product team engineer back-end solutions for the existing Springboard Video platform.
• Responsible for troubleshooting application-related issues and ensuring/maintaining high performance and system scalability.
Required skills:
• Strong understanding of and working experience with PHP/MySQL technologies.
• At least 2-3 years of PHP development experience, work on system-based projects.
• At least 2 years of MySQL development experience.
• Strong understanding of and working experience with OOP, PHP frameworks (CAKE framework in particular) and Linux environment.
• Experience using JavaScript, AJAX and XML.
• Experience utilizing standards-compliant markup and CSS.
Desired skills:
• Experience with advanced MySQL techniques (stored procedures, triggers, etc.) and large data system-related maintenance and redundancy planning (master-slave replication, load balancers, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems, SVN preferred.
