Candidate profile:
We are looking for a person with drive and ambition to make a difference. You should be creative, energetic, self-motivated and results-oriented. You should be able to face a challenging work environment and handle short deadlines. You must be team oriented, with excellent communication skills. Assignments will involve:
• Creating Web-Based Applications
• Develop dynamic web sites by building MySQL databases
• Writing code (in PHP,HTML, and JavaScript)
Responsibilities:
• Development and implementation of web applications
• Strong ability to problem solve and troubleshoot web applications and code
• Provide time estimates for development of web projects
• Research and develop new web technologies
Required skills:
• PHP5 / Object Oriented Programming skills
• Understanding of XHTML/CSS/Ajax
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, web server configuration and administration (Apache), and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQLServer).
• Source control with SVN
• Detail oriented with excellent organization and time-management abilities
• Ability to write design specifications, programming specifications, and documentation
Desirable skills:
• Experience with developing Open Source e-commerce platforms such as Magento
